newbie becomes a veteran

I know I am newer than a lot of folks at all this but I thought I have been making pretty good progress in becoming an established hobbyist. A provider told me that she does not seen newbies. I'll be seeing other providers but eventually my newbie shine will wear off.

When does a newbie become a veteran?

try again GlobeSpotter.

it's happened and I still think I'm a newbie. or I feel like one compared to most of the members here. I still learn things from threads I'd never have thought of or expected.

as for you lyn.xes, good question. don't know the answer but with 5 provider reviews I'd think you'd be good as long as they will be a reference for you. I've never seen more than 3 required and plenty only require 2.

Just about everyone is a newbie when you compare them to old as rock fuckers like Bones. Lmfao

If you have to ask or start a thread you're still a newbie.

Not being a newbie doesn't make you a veteran in this. I wouldn't consider me one either. The guys that have been in this since aspd when it started are what I think of when it comes to being a veteran in this.

When you can see chicks without being told you don't have enough refs then you can consider yourself not new.

Now as far as the site goes well.....

I became a member of a review board back in 1999 when living in Miami. They had a system (similar to HD) where you were ranked by the number of reviews. With them, it took ~ 25 reviews to achieve the top status. But this was only a number and quite honestly, if a provider needed $$$, they always made an exception to the rule. I remember I had only sessioned about three times and I called a provider up to make an appointment. I asked if she provided "Full Service". She got pissed and said, "you are a newbie and I won't see you because you don't ask these types of questions over the phone," and she hung up on me.

For me, the most difficult barrier to break is with Indies... they want you to provide at least "3" Indy provider references with contact information and sometimes employment data. I will 'always' be a newbie to them and I personally am not willing to jump through all the hoops required.

You need to look for newbie friendly providers, join p411 and basically... pay your dues. Nobody really knows with providers what and when that is.

In terms of not being a newbie when it comes to hobby wisdom? We all are still learning because there is no such thing as hooker logic.

Oh, BTW, friggin Seedy is older than Methuselah. I know. I have seen his birth certificate and it is on sheep skin.

As a SC hobbyist and Sugar Dater I have never had to deal with the "verification" maze.

7 reviews with 5 indies.... You're in the mix already. If you don't have a P4 account get one and get a few ok's and you're done. You only become a veteran after your cannon has fired it's last shot.
