I'll be watching this one. Anybody watching "Debris"? Originally Posted by HedonistForever

It kind of disappoints me sometimes. I was a big comic book nerd when I was a kid, and rather than push the old material aside and try to make new stuff, they just gender and race bend the originals. Sometimes it works, like with Falcon becoming Captain America, that's fine. They're passing a title.
But the new X-Men run, "Children of the Atom", they just made a bunch of gen-z kids with woke bullshit with the same powersets as original X-Men.
The sky's the limit with Mutants. You can literally make anything, and the real story isn't about how cool their powers are, but how much they set them back. But nah, just make a new version of Nightcrawler and call him Daycrawler.

I certainly would have watched it had I known of it. Originally Posted by dilbert firestorm
