Is Search Broken?

Pick a post made by someone today.

Click on the user name. - statistics - list all posts.

I only see posts made before the server maintenance the other day.

Search by keyword also looks like the search database may not be updating either.

It seems to be fixed or at least better. Either someone did something, or the search database was behind and is catching up.

I noticed anomalies and figured it was my reverse electromagnetic polarity or EMP from rereading the post with my last session LOL!

I didn't get returns from simple user name searches for weeks, getting this:

Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms. %1$s

Now I get results, but some settings that cause no returns seem to be sticky and you have to reset to working selections each time (at least on Linux with Firefox).

Recent posts seem to be missing from the search again.

For instance, this post won't show up right now if you search the user's posts from her profile.

I'm finding the same problem as GneissGuy.

Ya, search has been screwy and buggy for weeks. I've found that's easier to click on that person's profile and then click on the statistics and find all posts....it usually at least brings up recent stuff that search doesn't. But that only works if you are looking for a certain member's posts. Now a lot of stuff is screwy....grrrr.

It makes it very difficult to stalk people!!.....just sayin'....
