Referrals

if a member's statistics shows referrals is 5, what does that mean? the member was refered to 5 times or the member refer someone else to.. thanks i am a newbe

Five new members, when registering with the site, put that person's handle down in the section of the registration form that says:

"If you were referred to this site by an existing member of ECCIE Worldwide, enter their username here. Referrer:"

That might be because that person invited the new member, or mentioned the site, or just random. Theoretically, it's an informal way for ECCIE management to say "thanks for helping increase our membership," and I believe the ladies may get some tangible benefit based on referrals. But it doesn't really mean much.
