Sept. 93' @ Texas Stadium was the show that catapulted Garth into super stardom, I remember it well... I was working as a stagehand at the venue when the lighting bridge
came crashing down, injuring a few workers. My opinion of Garth at that time was he was just another arrogant redneck asshole with a lil' change in his pocket.
I totally forgot about him. I'm not big into country but, I remember he was huge until he put on a wig and changed his name.
He's about as country as a prius.
I'm not a fan but why isn't he playing at Jerrah World??? Could have sold that out 7 times too???
I worked with a guy in college by the name of Tim Dubois. He got everything done for his doctors in accounting except for his thesis but he moved to Nashville and wrote "Love in the First Degree" and just retired after putting Brooks and Dunn together
but he passed on Garth Brooks
he also wrote "She got the gold I got the shaft"
my friends in Tulsa said it was a great show
The man is an incredible talent. I am not a country fan but I do like a lot of his music. I wish I could go see his show
I'm not a big country music fan, but I've seen him once before and he does put on one heck of a good show. I'll be going in Sept. and I'm glad its not at Jerry World, the sound is horrible in that place (IMHO).
I would consider going but I hate huge crowds...somewhat claustrophobic.
Now plop a pussy on my face and another on my dick and I'm good to go.
