Question for mods, and long time providers/hobbyest

Sometimes I still have problems understanding the rules and all.... it's not lack of education... I am the guy that doesn't read the instructions..hahahaha

I think, but am not sure.... Isn't it against the rules for providers to try to solicit business via email when the hobby person doesn't contact them first?? I'm just asking bc one of my clients emailed me and told me that a specific provider emailed him and asked for a session.... funny thing is, he has the entire day booked with me the day she wanted to see him... Any input would be greatly appreciated.... Sorry about my little rule break in the Sandbox, I just want to be a law abiding provider.... Boy, is that a play on words!!!

"And that's all I gotta say about that...."

I usually send my repeat friends a little note to let them know I am coming into town and if they want to play, then they can prebook.
I see nothing wrong with it if it is your clients you have seen before and are comfortable with
{if they cannot see me,then there is always next tour}

Remember, when I started here I had an assistant that was a seasoned booker that handled all my stuff cause I didn't even know what bbbj meant... roflmao!!!! I just really started posting here a few months ago.... well, guess ya'll know that...

the main reason I do it is because I travel a lot so I wanna keep my regulars updated and give them first shot at the ride when I make it their way
^^^^^ "first shot" ... I love it when you talk dirty.

I just believe you're not to send unsolicited PM's.

Mods have no control over who sends e-mail to who.
lmao.... you're not hijacking my thread Dallas, silly... You knew what the other thing was about, but it's over.. I don't want problems... You and I are cool... but I think you already knew that....

XOXOXO,
Tay

personally I don't mind getting notification via PM that a provider (especially if it's one I've never seen) comes into town and says she would like to see me while she's in. I've missed out on chances, mostly because I rarely read the provider ads about who's traveling where...Taylor you and Dallas are both ladies I want to see in my very near future.
Just so you know

It's not uncommon for ladies to send PMs/emails to past clients. Emails/Pms from ladies they've never seen or had contact with at all is usually unwanted by the guys but there are no board rules that I'm aware of. Legal issues may be a different story but just being here probably poses similar issues.

I enjoy getting a notice from someone I have seen before about their availability as long as they are understanding when I can't accept the opportunity.
Also, if we have been flirty on the boards it is ok too. To me that is what this site is about... hobby opportunity. I just can't always answer with a yes, and ladies need to understand that.

I too got an unsolicited email and i think from the same lady you are referring to.

However, I had tried to see her before in NO - though I doubt she knew that - our schedules did not match.

I have zero problems having a request for interest sent -

its like getting hit on in a bar. So long as the yes or no is accepted - politely - its all good.

I sorta figured it came w/ being here
