What kinds of shots do you like?

I've had a few shoots for ladies profile/showcase pics (though none lately to be fair), and it's been more than once that a lady has shown up with really no idea of what she wants out of the shoot (other than "some good pics that make me money"). Now, photographers usually have some amount of sets, props, wardrobe to accommodate and usually some concept ideas as well. What I'm curious about is are there ideas or concepts or general looks and such that the women are hoping to get out of a shoot? Do you want a glam look? High fashion style? Fine art? Are you hoping for something creative/dramatic in the lighting? Or just good old fashioned flat lighting?

Now, the answer could be "I want to shoot what the guys want to see", so feel free to turn it around. I know we've had a few phone vs camera threads, so I'm not trying to go there again, just wanting to talk in the realm of an actual shoot.

I like shoots where the setting is unique. Ask the provider to identify her target market, assess her personality/character, and channel it through the shoot after brainstorming ideas. I prefer my pics to not have ANY photo-shopping, so my potential Lovers and friends know exactly what they are getting ( hell I myself have been dissappointed after meeting some providers in person lol) ... this is up to the girl herself.

I want to look alluring, not so much the XXX porn-star look, yet not the expected "boudoir" shoot either - say a happy medium between the two. I also work to be as creative as possible as far as outfits and background.

Most girls have no clue about these things. They just want to look hot, and get guys to come stick their dick in em. Not that that is a bad thing.... there is a market for that as well.

I ALWAYS ask for them to send me a few pictures of what they like or have seen online. Sometimes it works with their style/body, sometimes it doesn't. It gives me a visual of their tastes nonetheless.

Personally I am a HUGE fan of the comfy girlfriend look. Natural lighting, soft skin, in bed... Kinda like THIS PIC I did for Grace.

I like to see shots that most represent the lady who will be opening the door when I get there. By that I mean, if you generally don't wear makeup for a session, be photographed sans makeup. If you don't own a matching bra and panty set, don't be photographed that way. Save those pics for paid shoots. I'm paying for the girl in the pics, not the one in the magazine.
