I think the broadcast crew were surprised.
They've been dissing on Garoppolo for weeks.
Granted 49s defense, or rather special teams, won the game, but a win is a win. 49s offence had zero TD's, not good.

I think he wanted to send a message. hes always been arrogant but during the quarterback replacement talk and the new coach it seems like things have went downhill and hes just milking the money from his contract. The raiders will take him. it would put him closer to cali where he wanted to be in the first place.
