How to post an Avatar?

Ok, I'm completely a newbie to this site, but not the hobby. Been trying for two days to figure out how to post an avatar to my profile. Help?!?

This and many other personal options are available in your "User CP" http://www.eccie.net/usercp.php? located on the far hand left side of the page near the top.

Avatars, Signature lines, email and password changes and much more. Please check it out.

Edit details such as location, hobbies, occupation, text under avatar -
