Maybe I'm not submissive after all?

Well i love regular sex I have always been interested in the D/s dynamic. Long before it became "trendy" I was seeking out information and trying to convince real world partners to play. This interest along with a naturally sweet, giving personality and an attraction to powerful strong men I must be submissive right? I am beginning to wonder. It doesn't seem to matter if the sessions are real world or hobby related I am always left with wondering " is that it"? There has to be more? The depth of feeling I am anticipating is just not there.

Some of the posts in Another Realm have me questioning everything. I have found myself fascinated by the prospect of dominating a man. Not just any man but a man that appears to the outside world to be the strong confident alpha type. Add the thought that he is also paying me to do this gives me a crazy high.

The problem, the last thing I would want to do is venture into this type of play and leave someone feeling disappointed and wondering "is that it"?? I have been there and know how horrible that feels. So where do I go to receive the type of training to be successful? Do I find some one to apprentice under? Any information is appreciated.

Chicken!! Lol. I promise I will be gentle with you. Nahh I kind of like the way things are between us right now. Fun fun fun!!!
There are plenty of great books out there that I can recommend to you. You aren't the first to question which side of the D/s line that they fall. If it comes to that, you might be a genuine switch. Genuine doms are hard to find so it is certainly worth pursuing if you aren't sure.

Mistress Simone in Chicago has some very useful articles that might help you to figure it out.
