The Apple Store. Look for possible work/educator/other discounts.

Sexy is right too but you have to be careful and you want to get him an IPAD2 not the first generation!

Go to Target tomorrow morning before Noon. You can get a forty dollar gift card rebate on the Ipad and a ten dollar rebate for every seventy five dollars you spend. Also if you have or get a Target credit card you'll save an additional 5%.

Most of the vendors are about the same, Apple doesn't reduce there wholesale charges to resellers based on volume. Apple did have a sale black friday weekend for $50 or $75 off. Being an iPad user I would stay away from the 16GB, 32GB is far better if your father is likely to load it up with a lot of Apps, music, videos and E/I-Books. I have mine for just 6 months and already using 12GB fortunately I have 32GB. The other consideration is whether to buy the wireless 802.11x only or the wireless/cellular data model. I have the latter and it costs me (corporate rate) $24/mth for unlimited service, it's really 2GB but sold a unlimited. You have to read between the lines. Buying the latter model will cost anywhere from $75 to $100 more.

Lastly be careful where you buy and make sure it is new and not refurbished.
i will add to your growing list of online vendors to check out.

amazon.com will give you the option to see prices for brand new. if you're willing to risk getting a used one or refurbished, amazon.com will list your options for those also.
