Relax Excel in Hurst closed

If someone else has already posted this, I apologize for the dupe. I did a cursory seach and couldn't find anything.


While driving through the area today, I noticed a sign on the front door of Relax Excel. Curious, I pulled in to check it out.


I don't remember the exact wording, but the essence is that the building (I'm guessing just the one suite, as I didn't see signs elsewhere on the property) has been deemed uninhabitable and is condemned, and entry is prohibited.

Wow, that's a popular place too.

Hurst recently enacted a new ordinance putting strict operating guidelines for spas. Those that don’t comply can be shut down. There is a post on another thread that does a good job of explaining the compliance requirements and penalties. Suffice it to say that the studio business in Hurst is likely going to need to go underground or move.

Allure at Hurst has been impacted as well.
