Why the Democrats Struggle at Governance

When your President gets elected by only 52% of the popular vote, you don't have a mandate to shove shit down the other side's throat. Throw the other side a crumb now and then, then they won't hate you and resent you. Try to get a consensus and consider the other side has some legitimate part in the government, and don't demonize them and their thoughts. Generally speaking, you should blame the Party that has the Presidency and a majority in one of the two main legislative bodies to be responsible for gridlock, not the minority party.

Democrats have trouble governing because socialism does not work. Republicans also. You can't make something work which is unnatural. It is why America's days are numbered. I didn't see anyone telling the democrats to not vote for the war in Afghanistan or Iraq and they did.

Of course, (lets bring up the past again) Clinton didn't go to Congress for his deployment to Bosnia did he?

As for democrats, demagoguery only works in elections and community organizing but it doesn't do anything when you got control of the job.
