If y'all haven't been to the WWII D-Day museum in NOLA and that sort of thing interests you as it does me I highly recommend it. I was there in December and I went again yesterday. I even got to shake hands with an old timer who was in WWII which was an honor for me.
Thank you to all that have served and given their lives for our freedoms!

Plenty of local areas for military history:
-National WWII Museum in NOLA (the 4D theater is amazing).
-USS ALABAMA in Mobile (battleship, aircraft, submarine, & tank museum).
-Blue Angels headquarters in Pensacola
-Unfortunately Fleet Week New Orleans has passed last month (expect them again in two years). And the same with the annual Sea Bee day with the Navy Construction Battalions in Gulfport a couple weeks ago.

I would love to see the USS Alabama! Maybe I can scoot on over to Mobile from Biloxi hope so!
Don't forget the USS. KIDD in baton rouge.
