I'll be traveling to Houston quite a bit over the next few months and due to proximity to work it looks like I'll be staying right square in the middle of downtown - just curious on thoughts versus staying elsewhere considering I'm normally an outcall guy? I assume ladies would venture downtown assuming all my credentials check out?
Downtown is 15 minutes from the Galleria area, 5 minutes from Midtown, 10 from the Heights, so you should have lot of choices of providers.
The only downside is that doing an outcall to an upscale downtown hotel could be a challenge. You might ask around about which specific hotels aren't too vigilant about keeping your special nieces off the premises.
You're in Houston, so you'll no doubt have a car. So outcall remains an option if you find someone who's not willing to travel downtown.

Downtown is great - right in the middle of town. The only problem can be parking and for some people - one way streets (never personally understood the difficulty, but some people have trouble navigating them).
The Galleria may be the only location slightly better. Still centrally located, great restaurants, better parking (usually - depends on the hotel), and normal streets.
Downtown has significant security issues which may necessitate you traveling out for joy. On the plus side, being centrally located, that travel should be relatively painless in comparison to other areas.

Thanks Christle, by security issues would you mean the downtown area in general or issues with hotel security? Staying at a very nice hotel with busy lobby in the evenings, etc, obviously don't want to list it here.
I misinterpreted your original post - I thought you were moving into a corporate loft. A busy hotel lobby is a provider's best friend, as are harried desk clerks. I would let the provider know how everyone else is dressed to save her some hassle. You will most likely need to go up the escort tier to find one who will not stick out like a sore thumb - donations tend to rise accordingly. I'm sure you know this.
I would check the elevators to see if they require a room key to operate. This can be a subtle check against hobby activity; you can work around this by meeting in the bar and going up together. If she needs to valet, it's a nice gesture to cover that expense. Good luck, and enjoy your stay here in Houston; you will not lack for entertainment or dining options Downtown, so, have fun!
What about the energy corridor area?
