How many of you are afraid to ask the clerk at the checkout if there is a discount or some sort of a special. If you do not you are not taking advantage of the market. You will never get a discount or special unless you ask for it.

Please note, I do not harangue or harass a clerk when they tell me no. I have picked up unadvertised discounts of over 30 Percent over and above the sale or previously discounted price. How many of you go to a car dealer and tell them I want that car and I will pay sticker or better for it. I ask for discounts on any and all rentals as well. AAA, senior, you name it. Why give away money you do not have to.

Mind you, I am not talking about haggling.

Absolutely say no to an offer that you don't like, but some day, the requests will end. Jusy saying. And no, it was not me.

Wait till the end of the month when rent is due. Some provider will take the bait. Happ ns all the time.
