Sober for me! I may have a drink during a date. Now if it is a social or I am hanging out with friends from the hobby and no appointment is taking place, then yes I will have drinks. I am going home alone.

I have smelled and tasted alcohol on about 30% of my dates in the past,, I dont drink at all, never, not my thing.. I am more of an organic type

Sober all the way! That's one of my excuses to get out of the house, Bye I'm going to a Sober meeting! LOL Going on 22 yrs. sober! I'm with R Boy on smelling alcohol, if I think it's a problem, I may say something about myself, but I usually don't go back.Not everyone that drinks has a problem!
But you cann't help anyone that doesn't want help. I've been there, done that. I'm one drink away from a DRUNK. Sorry didn't mean to get carried away.

This poll is a little black & white. I chose sober, but that's not entirely true. I have had a beer or two before a session. Had a slight glow but certainly not drunk! Also have shared a bottle of wine or champagne with a lady during a session. Major problem being it prolongs things for me, so I tend to avoid it. But not against it if a lady wants to partake socially, sloppiness is definitely a turn off !

I am an early bird. 90% of my hobby activities take place between 7am - noon. So, if I was drunk I would have a second vice to be concerned with !

I am sober going into the date but there are times where I get "buzzed" never drunk. I never open the door already under the influence.....its not classy!!!
