Hello All!

I'm Daphne from Houston, and I'm coming to visit your fair city next weekend. I've only been to the NO once in my life (and that was just passing through). What a pity! Anyhoo, can you guys suggest any good places to go out to eat and party? I don't want to take the tourist route, I want to really have some NOLA FUN! Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm all ears!

hotels I use bookit.com{best place to stay is warehouse district/downtown/lower garden district}....

great places to eat are Daisy Dukes...Vodoo BBQ....Hard Rock cafe....Lucy's Kangaroo Bar.....Palace Cafe....Grand Isle Inn

Shopping is awesome on Decauter...my fave shops are ROADKILL & WICKED

I'm staying downtown.. very close to the French Quarter. I loved shopping there earlier today, then going to Jackson Square and listening to some of the best music that has ever hit my ears!!!
