Greg Abbot now running for President?

Greg Abbot's latest ad makes it look like he's running against Obama, not Wendy Davis.
My experience has found that when a candidate from the other party starts mentioning the currently sitting President in office at the time in his/her ads, their campaign is worried about something.

You get what you ask for...

Abbott likes to fight those that don't fight back. Obama has no reason to respond to his assaults. Wendy on the other hand is not one of the powerless victims he normally prey's on.
Shouldn't this be in your War on Women thread? Oh right, conservative women don't count.

But to be honest, it sounds more like a get-out-the-base ad, since the only folks who are likely to respond to it are members of his own party. Perhaps his team is worried about low turnout from Republicans?

Also, read this morning that Abbot has allowed one of his buddies to slide on a fine owed for an ethics violation ruling for something like 5 years. Basically the charge is that he has ignored his duties on this case. Expect Ana ad from Wendy any day now....
You never posted an ad; you only opined about some ad. And in your opining, you characterized the Abbott ad as being about Obama. In other words, Abbott was tying Davis to Obama. That is not negative advertising; it is transference advertising......

But you never linked the ad so I can say for sure.

Sounds like you are desperately hoping Wendy Davis pulls out a win by hitting a grand slam homer in the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs and a count of 3-2.

She knows how to make moose cutlets and brawl in the mud.

She's an embarrassment to women AND the GOP. In fact, you could point to her hasty and poorly vetted nomination for VP as one of the defining moments in the downfall of the GOP.
