So unrelated to the hobby but I had to take Amtrack cross country once as the person I was traveling with couldn't fly for medical reasons..........we got separate rooms for 2 nights/ 2 days..........it was awesome, I loved it. Showering (separate shower) was difficult on a moving train but doable..........
