I pm'd her here w/ questions. When I called her about 3 today, she said she could meet me at 4:30. I told her I would call her at 4 to verify I was on the way. When I did call her, it went to VM, and I left her a message. She texted me back with her hotel, and to contact herwhen there for a room number.
I arrived and called her just before the appointed time, it went to VM, I left a message. Texted her a few minutes later. Called 10 inutes after the appointed time, and again 20 minutes after. I have since pm'd her to lether know I intended to post this NCNS for her.

I would like to once again offer my sincere apologies... I have never had this issue and im terribly sorry for any inconvenience I may have caused you. I did p.m. you with my very legitimate reason for not receiving your calls and hope to play with you some day...

Interesting Boxxman, I also had PM'ed and scheduled to meet Layla on 4/14 at 4 pm. Sounds like she overbooked us. When I called her at 3:30 to let her know that I was on my way, she said she couldn't meet at 4. I told her that I was already on my way and asked when she could meet. She offered up 4:45 and I agreed to that. Got to the hotel at 4:45 and called twice, both times went to voicemail, left message. I sit in the parking lot for 15 min until she calls me back to give me the room number and I head in. Boxxman, you were probably parked next to me in the hotel parking lot, both if us calling her and getting her vm. I find it interesting that in her Showcase, she lists one of her dislikes as poor communication. She may want to consider herself as a contributor to some of the poor communication she has experienced.

I do not ever overbook nor have I ever been a ncns. I have offered my very legitimate reason for this mix up as well as my sincere apologies. Being that this is not a common practice of mine I would like to not be attacked for it.

I think it shows a lot of class, and takes a lot of guts, to get on here and own that it happened, explain that it was a mistake not a regular practice, and most importantly offer to make it up.

Life does happen but it seems to be lost on some people sometimes. I've always thought that the 24-48 hour rule is best. I know it can be frustrating to have a date lined up only to see it evaporate but waiting at least one day hopefully two before posting is IMO a good rule of thumb..
