What would you have done?!?

I have been texting with a new girl that has a few reviews (but not verified) here. Finally decided to set a date, she is sooo very accommodating. This worried me a little because so many girls are very difficult to communicate with. She provides me with her hotel name even before we have made a date and gives me the room number before I ask for it, even before I leave the house. As soon as I rolled up at the very nice hotel in WLR, a cop rolls up on me. I'm parked in the shade away from other cars, he just sits there for a a few seconds and I decide to pull away and leave. I do so, with the provider asking me in text if I'm here yet and if I'm coming up...I only answer with "A police car just rolled up on me as soon as I parked." and "you're still coming up though, right." I am freaking out, thinking that I just avoided a sting. I drive for 2 miles on one major street and as soon as I circle a restaurant that I am thinking of getting lunch, there is the same Cop, I noted his vehicle number! At this point I am super freaked out and about to hit the "burn" button on my phone to erase the number, I still might. He did not stop me or follow me, that I noticed, but then I go see a civie that calms me down and tells me to always come to her when I need this. Over two hours later, I venture back near the same hotel and see the same Cop, again! I am not on the property but can see through the trees from a neighboring business that he is sitting in front of the hotel. All this time the provider is agreeing to anything and asking me why I did this to her, to come back, that she needs the money, and so on and so on...hard to explain, but I thought this was a sting, but now I think that this hotel is just at one end of this Cop's beat and the restaurant area is the other end...yeah, right, you keep convincing yourself of this and you'll be okay! I may retire from hobbying!

There's no telling if it's a sting, but I understand why you did what you did. I probably would have done the same thing.
Always follow your instincts!

Of course, how instinctual would one need to be in that situation? Lol

Yeah, I think you got pretty lucky. It is pretty weird though that he made his presence known before you even went in. Scaring you away before you commit anything kind of ruins the purpose of the sting.

jmho, stings usually involve UC vehicles at the venue before the sting comes down.... and if it is a multiple sting, LE will have a second or third hotel room where they will stash the johns until the sting is over and they can roll up a bus or van.

Glad whatever you thought might be happening did not happen to you.

I feel bad if this was just a local cop checking on the hotel, and I left the provider hanging, OMG...I've committed the ultimate hobby sin...a NCNS...just call me Coco!

What worried me was that when I told her a cop rolled up on my vehicle, she did not freak out, in fact she said she came down and outside looking for me and did not see anything...well of course, I was on the run from the law...OMG...I'm a fugitive, now, too!

But she never mentioned money, so was that okay? In one review she said they met for a drink then went on to the business, but when I ask her to meet me in the lobby bar, she said she did not drink, and when I did not answer her, she agreed to have a drink...does this sound like a desperate attempt to lure me in?
You can drive yourself crazy with 'what-ifs' in these types of situations.

Like someone else stated, cops are usually pretty conscious of not letting you notice them in a sting type of situation. Otherwise, if they send you running scared before the arrest, they've wasted their time.

That being said, no one's going to get the warm fuzzies seeing a cop follow them around when they're about to see an escort, so you probably did the right thing, anyway. You would have been a nervous wreck throughout the date if you did follow through, and what fun is that?

It's probably best for you to wait to reschedule until her reputation & review count hits a level that reassures you.

PS. Lack of discussion of money or activities will not save you if you walk into a sting. All they've got to do is get you there & they will make the rest up. Who is the judge going to believe -- you or them?
I think you did the right thing. I would have been out of there and told her we're going to have to reschedule for later date. Or you could of threw her some bait and asked her to meet you out front and you pick her up like you know her and go somewhere else for a drink and see if she takes the bait. But I seen you already asked if she wanted to meet in lobby bar for drink and she was hesitated.

Anyways I have a question about stings. Are you less likely to be involved in sting on a resident outcall? Since most of my hobby experiences I have provider come to my house. Is it safer?

I believe that controlling the environment is always your safest bet.

You could have just been spooked because of the bad timing of seeing the officer, but if a lot of little things do not seem right, it's best to do what you did and just leave. I would have done the same thing. I think you should always go with your instincts. If it just doesn't look right, move on.
