Depends on what part of West Texas you are in...

Having said that, I was in the East Texas area during my vacation back in March and, you have to be extra careful on the roads for moving violations due to the cameras they installed on the traffic lights.

The traffic is horrendous as are the drivers attitudes. They did a study 4 years ago or so to predict growth and traffic for the next 25 years. In 4 short years we reached the traffic levels not predicted to take effect until 2025. I drive an average of 6 hours a day in the basin and avoid an average of 2.5 asshole accidents waiting to happen. People here have no concept of safe driving.

i cant wait to leave this sand hell and get to a paradise of a beach, 2 palm trees with a hammock, a bucket of iced down corona light, a surf rolling in, and a big tittied woman in my lap.

LOL! So you are talking about Midessa. Well the oil traffic is a pisser on those little roads. Same is true in NE Texas panhandle.

Anyway. Im stuck here for a few years. Although I am contemplating a breakout if a dedicated run develops with a friends company. Double the pay and I get to see corpus twice a week. LoL I will sneak some sand back here.....oh wait. Odessa has more sand than corpus.

It's bad when you go down I20 and you can count the holes in the wire median with your finger & toes... slightly exaggerated. Few more years but at least I get to go home to trees and lakes once every 2 months of I'm lucky, lol
