BP pictures

Why do so many girls have the self-shot pictures of themselves in a mirror? They are so un-flattering. Can't they find someone to point the camera at them and push the button? Some self-shots even show someone in the background. Just hand them the camera! Cracks me up, I don't get it.

I totally agree and even started a similar post years ago on ASPD. You would think that they could find someone....anyone, to take the picture for them. You are right...they are unflattering and sometimes look down right silly.

Digital cameras have a feature that allow you to position them and set the timer to take pictures. I have used it before. You just have to find the right angle and level to set it at. LOL. I'm definitely no professional.
I agree that the mirror pics aren't that great.

I prefer the mirror pictures to the professional air brushed ones. More realistic expectations.

i like the mirror pics too. it hopefully repesents who your seeing. i like the ones with the date on them too. even on the mirror

I don't dig "airbrushed" pics (wow... people are still calling it that??)... And I'm not a big fan of the mirror pics either... I like something in between... something which shows what the lady looks like, is flattering yet real.

Thing I can't stand is... a lady gets pictures done of herself and they're all either of her laying on her stomach, covering her stomach with an arm or the "look at how big my boobs/ass is!!" shot. It just screams out "Ok, I'm insecure about my stomach and I don't want you to see it... in fact, if i meet you I'm going to do that weird "take my arms out of the sleeves of my top to reveal my boobs and then take my pants off thing so I'll have my shirt around my midsection the whole time.""
