News item - JOCO man arrested for raping, strangling escort

Surprised there's been no discussion about this. Prayers for the girl, and I hope this scumbag gets what's coming to him.

God that is scary. I am so glad that she is OK. And guys wonder why we screen.
I dont think anyone can tell if a guy is a potential rapist or a homicidal nut job by screening.

Lets be honest Gemma, we both know this psycho would have never made it through your screening.

I am definitely not blaming the victim here. She is not responsible for the fact that this guy was a psycho. I am just very relieved that she is OK, and that she had the courage to report her experience to the police.

But when I see guys getting an attitude about a provider's screening requests, these are the stories that come to mind that justify why screening is important.

And, he lived with his parents and I'm wondering if they even had any clue that their son was homicidal?? His parents obviously aren't seeing any signs and that is fuckin scary.

But even some of the most observant people dont know they are dealing with a rapist or a homicidal maniac. So, I'm just saying it could happen to anyone. And I'm glad she made it as well, but I'm guessing, as you said, she didn't screen.

So, I completely agree with you Stacy. This is a prime example why we screen.
The first thing I thought of when I heard this story on the radio this morning was, "oh man, I hope all the ECCIE girls are ok." I really give this girl kudos, whoever she is. The really creepy part is that he found out what hospital she was in and went there.

Be careful, ladies. Screening can be a pain in the ass for everybody sometimes, but just remember this story if you're ever tempted to let your guard down.

I say that if this guy bonds out, a few of us guys go kick his ass just as a matter of principle.

Why the hell would you rape an escort? She is there for sex usually.... Maybe she wouldn't do bbbj and he got mad. Probably more likely he had no money and she wanted to leave and he turned on her. Crazy dude got nabbed before he could really hurt someone in the future.

Let's take a ride down memory lane. ..anyone familiar with BTK.. he had a trustworthy position with a church for 25 effing yrs!! And one thing I CAN Assure you of .. is that most psychopathic freaks can put on a show long enough to "fulfill"their desires ! Could have seen several women .. even collecting awesome references from model type escorts and still went where he did... !! Yes screening is helpful.. BUT reality is we still put ourselves in very dangerous situations with people we REALLY DON'T KNOW. So you meet a client on a semi regular basis say 2xs per month for what a year.. and you know them??? no you don't you know what they let you know or what they tell you you really don't know s*** about them and they really don't know s*** about us the only time you really know somebody is if you spend a lot of quality time with them and then as example I was using BTK ... do you really know them. if you think you do I'm not here to pop your illusion balloon , the point I am actually getting ready to make it is I am starting self defense classes if you have never taken any ladies and gentlemen I would highly recommend !highly recommend that you look into it at least. We are all important to somebody.. and at least care enough about you to be able to protect yourself so you can rest your head safely at the end of each day.. HUGS ♡ done lecturing for today .
