Gift card exchange?

Wal-Mart is trying out a gift card exchange for people who receive cards for stores they don't want: http://www.wtsp.com/story/news/2014/...ards/20898185/

After Christmas travels and gift exchanges, I have a chunk of cards given to me: Wal-Mart, Bath and Bodyworks, Target, etc. And seeing Felina's ads for the season (and Felina, what you did for the families is WONDERFUL!) I'm wondering if there is a market within the hobby for exchange cards towards donations.

Of course, I've been on the road since 9 AM, so I'm simultaneously horny and exhausted. I might not have the best ideas right now...
Okay, trying to make jokes and come up with ideas whilst tired and horny may not be the best thing to do. And after getting some sleep, I'm not tired anymore... yep... it was a dumb idea. I'll just say mea culpa!

(Still horny though... and what shall I do with all these gift cards...)
I don't think it's a bad idea if they're cards a provider wants. Obviously it would be discussed beforehand. Don't just show up and throw a bunch of random cards down lol
I would like a providers discount card after 5 visits.the 6 visit is free.
I've been accepting Walmart cards for years. Walmart just happens to be someplace that I normally spend a lot of money anyway, so it's almost as good as cash to me. Bath & Bodyworks and similar... yeah, I really don't need $300 worth of lotion. Lol

Everyone likes different things, so I'm sure the answer would change depending on who you ask!

As far as the prepaid Visa/MasterCard disposable gift cards, I can easily convert those into cash since I have the ability to accept credit cards for payment.
I wouldn't mind taking wal-mart and target since I also spend alot of money in both
niemann marcus anyone?

Both Visa and Mastercard can be used to pay for tuition and textbooks, Walmart is where I do most of my household shopping........

Give me a gift card and I'll give you a thank you note. That's about it...
Had one guy give me a $40 Dillard's gift card. I never shop at Dillard's so it's just in my purse. It might have expired already
I ended up getting two $100 Target, two $50 Wal-Mart and a $25 Bath and Bodyworks (Dirty Santa: my daughter has a mean sense of humor.)

There is the issue of verification of course, making sure the funds are on the card(s)... I would suspect the ladies would be more questioning of a newbie than a long-term member. And from the male point of view, the threat of being blacklisted for non-payment means a lot more to the long-term guys.
