Best City for Hobby?

I've always wondered where the best city for the hobby is

Can you clarify a bit?

Do you mean in New Mexico? In the US? In the world?

I have no complaints in Dallas, then again, that is where I started and it really treat me well.

Dallas is loaded. Most any other big city in Texas is also decent, Kansas City is pretty good too. Quality, Quantity and Price all better.

You can fly to Dallas in the AM, get a 20-something Coed that is smoking hot and fly back that afternoon for cheaper than I have seen some of the local 40-somethings here advertising for.

The only place worse than here is probably Las Vegas.

From what I have heard, Dallas and Atlanta are the best places for the gents to hobby.

I still think ABQ is pretty lucky to have the local talent that you do have though.

On this board you have a very large number of members from Texas so you will get a lot of support for Texas cities as the best. I think DC is much better than its reputation on here.

It depends on if you are looking for quality or quantity. Vegas can be GREAT, just do some research and use, a little common sensE (as you should everywhere...)

I think Portland and Seattle area was great with plenty of talent and alot to choose from. Tel I moved down to old NM its been slim pickins. I never shop on BP tel I came down to NM.....

Las Vegas can be great if you are willing to overpay. Too many flakes and way overpriced. There are a few places I don't hobby. Las Vegas is one of them. It is a waste of time IMO. Im in Dallas once a month so that doesn't make sense to me. Some might see me as cheap. I'm not at all. Im practical.

The reason you can't find many good local reviews is there are not that many good locals compared to similar sized cities. The ones traveling through? They are hit and miss. Some are upper end talent with upper end prices and others have worn out their welcome from one city to the next. Funny enough I see some of their ads in several towns in my travels and just laugh.

I have literally been in every big city in the US. Sad thing when big cities like New York, Seattle, Los Angeles, or areas like inland empire or Jersey shore that you expect to be outrageously overpriced is not. The reason many Texas cities is held in high regard is because it is some of the best places for the hobby it has nothing to do with many people are from Texas on this board. I'm not from Texas but I assure you there are 10 times the ads there and 10 times the talent in Dallas.
