Fireworks!?!

What are peoples thoughts and previous experience with firework displays? I am thinking about going to the Des Moines Symphony pops display on the 2nd. But for the actual 4th not sure. The Freedom Festival in Cedar Rapids looks like it could be pretty cool, especially if Rockwell Collins is sponsoring the fireworks. Any thoughts?

Red, White and Boom in Davenport is a pretty good show. Will be firing off of 2 barges on the Mississippi.

my favorite fireworks...the dueling barges on the Mississippi in New Orleans!!

Maybe one day I can check out the ones in Iowa!
My favorite fireworks were in Philadelphia on 4th of July. Second choice is Artesia, New Mexico, were they put on an awesome show. A guy who lives there is an engineer and invents new fireworks all the time. He invented that machine that fires multiple bursts of shells like a machine gun. Now I see them everywhere.
The Symphony show is barely ok. Beats nothing.
I like how Dallas Rain makes fireworks shoot out of my dick. Those are the best.

It is very hard to even watch fireworks in Iowa after lying in the grass at the foot of the Washington Monument watching the fireworks in Washington DC. They are amazing and words can not even come close to describing! If you ever have a chance you have to go! I did watch them from an airplane one time and that was cool but with no sound it lost something. I love fireworks!!
I know this will sound crazy. But Grand Mound IA on the 4th of July.. Go early and take plenty of booze. You have to go to understand.

The REAL fireworks are in my bed...lol

I just found out that my lil town had their fireworks last weekend.....bummer....guess i gotta go buy some and have my own now!
Grand Mound is awesome and I only have to walk a couple of blocks. City wide party with a rolling water fight for a parade at 2. Big fun.
