which is actually better?

Tyler or Longview? I keep popping down there for special requests and would like to actually stay at least 1 night.

Offer suggestions as to best places to stay for hobby and places to eat.

Thank you for your help!

Lol you would think I was the night manager the way I pimp Hawthorne suites in tyler. Seriously the nicest rooms for a decent price in a good part of town. They have a kitchenet and a sofa, i think Ive been in one that had a set of french doors that led to the bedroom. It is also somewhat secluded so you cant see the parked cars from the street. It also helps that it is 5 minutes from my house but ai would reccomend it even if i lived 30 min away.

in my opinion Tyler and Longview are close enough together it should not matter. I live in Longview and have driven to Tyler (45 min) many times to see someone. Maybe that drive is a problem for some, I don't know. One thing about Longview is that it is closer to Shreveport and you might draw some people from Shreveport if you put an ad there also

I am about to head overseas for a 7 week hitch or I might help welcome you

I just read that you are going to S'port anyway, so that may not be a concern....lol Seems like a lot of LE activity over there, be careful

I'm much more fond of Tyler. Better places to shop IMHO.

Well for those of us in Shreveport Longview is better about 1hr. Half the travel time of Tyler, that adds up quickly round trip .
so Longview More hobby time.
