Lubbock nightlife?

Visiting Lubbock with my sexy girlfriend and we would like to go out and see what Lubbock has to offer. Any suggestions on dive places that are safe? Local popular restaurants?

If you enjoy the biker scene, with live music, try the Texas Cafe aka "The Spoon." Chances R is a decent night club. Nick's Sports Grill is ok, too, but honestly, Lubbock is not much for dive places. If you want upscale, try The Funky Door. You can find all of these and more of similar type when you google Lubbock night life. But hopefully others will recommend from their personal experiences.

There is a new bar called Charley B's that is having a grand opening tomorrow night. It's country though. Down from chances R is a place called the office sports bar and grill. They have good food and company. Of course you can go to Broadway bu campus for the younger crowd
