same name

I came across an amazingly beautiful young girl on this site and after googling her name to find out more, the first listing was an established porn actress with exact same name but 17 years older. They are definitely not the same lady.

My question is, does this frequently happen? and is it really only a problem if the originally named person pursues some kind of recourse?

I'm curious to know what kind of recourse anyone using a fake name of another using that same fake name, might have. I've had at least one use my name and profile I had here, on other sites and it caused confusion. I called the number she had listed, but she was just rude to me and hung up. LOL

I guess I didn't think about it that both of the people are using fakes, regardless of who was first, so nothing can really be done except confuse....which clearly it did to me. :-) Sorry this happened to you.

Some try to be creative and create a name that is easy to remember. (Blu Belle) or had heard a name but were unaware that the name existed already. Some do try to plagiarize a name ever so slightly.

Think of how many strippers you have seen named Star or Candy. Now how many Gertrude's and Maud's have you seen. Some names sound sexier.
