Planning a Little Rock trip!

So, I'm planning to visit Little Rock soon and was wondering what days of the week would be good to visit! Any suggestions on great places to eat? What about local shopping?

That's exciting! I tend to do best on weekdays. Little Rock has some amazing restaurants so for Mexican food I would suggest Cantina Laredo, The Faded Rose for Cajun Food, and Istanbul for Turkish cuisine. Little Rock has an amazing restaurant scene for a small city. There are so many great places to eat that you should never have to slum it at a chain restaurant.

A Vanna & Dearest sandwich would be an awesome place to dine.

I would suggest staying in West Little Rock and avoiding anything around I630/Fair Park and all of Southwest Little Rock. I would also avoid Downtown, but since everyone says it "isn't that bad" I suppose that's just me being picky.

+1..wise advice...downtown may not be hard to navigate but not as conducive to a good.hobby experience..avoid where she mentions pretty much everything u need is within easy driving distance
