Ok so I’m in west texas the week of the oil show looking for some company. I find FLEXINONYA just what I like, nice small just right. I send her a PM letting her know I want to see her. She ask for some references I send them and all seems good. We are set up for the next day at 9pm. So I leave work and I text her at about 7pm and ask “are we still good for 9 tonight?” no response. Ok so then I look at my ECCIE pms. And she had sent me one that said, I accidently deleted your text please contact me. So I did nothing till about 9pm and she tells me, I just woke up I need to shower and I will be on my way. Another text later and she said that she is leaving in 15 mins. After that nothing more from her. She never showed. I sent her a text the next day asking what happened. Nothing no response. I’m posting it here so maybe she can give an explanation about what happened. And anyone else please feel free to chime in on this as well.

That sucks!!! I had a similar situation with ZGirl2 last night. We were texting then it became crickets. I drove 120 miles and spent 4 hr for a NCNS appointment.

99% of hookers are going to pull this kind of bullshit at some point. the reality is that most of them don't see anything past an hour in the future. within that hour it's either feast or famine and they react accordingly. if you happen to cross their path when they are freaking out...or are supposed to…chances are you're going to suffer the consequences through no fault of your own. it's just part of the deal. obviously there are exceptions, like jessica for example, who not only know this is a bullshit way to operate but who earn at least part of their success by being different.

But seriously,I think it is important to always stay in contact.
I always give notice if I am running a few minutes late or if on
one of those very rare occasions, I need to cancel. I hate my time
wasted so I understand how it feels. Even at that point it stinks having
to tell someone you have to cancel, but is stinks much worse to flake.

This post makes me feel very unlucky. The one and only time I had an appointment with Jessica, about a year ago, she cancelled on me 30 min out. Since this is a very rare occurrence apparently, this makes me pretty damn lucky.

Just sayin. My sample size is very small, but you emphasized that you only cancel on VERY rare occasions. That is not my experience of course. Therefore, the only logical conclusion is that I'm very unlucky. I did very much want to see you and still do, some day.

Back to the thread.. Girls flaking is very annoying, but it goes with the territory unfortunately. Communication is key. It's nice to get a heads up, but any cancellation sucks especially when you are in town for a short period of time and don't have the opportunity to see someone else.
