So when did $250 become the new normal?

So everyone seems to be asking between $200 - $250. Is the economy that booming that girls have started asking NYC prices? Sure there are plenty of Hotties that can actually justify that level, but even the providers that don't compare seem to think it's the going rate. WTF people!

I should have probably put this in COED Discussion.

This price range is not NYC pricing unless it's a hooker giving a bj in a subway station. I never have thought of $250 as anything but a fair price if the lady is GFE and I enjoy my hour with her!

Not true. For $250 in NYC there are some agency girls who are very attractive that you can rent for a GFE hour. The Asians tend to range more to the $300 range. Now they are not the models making money on the down low charging $500+ an hour. If that is where you play, congratulations on your wealth. I have yet to see a subway hooker, but I am sure they exist and without a doubt they charge too much.

Paying for hookers in NYC is always more expensive than paying for one here...OP is delusional...

Take your $20 and drag it behind your car through a Baton Rouge trailer park...you'll find something more to your liking...

OP, if money's tight, have you looked into getting a sugar daddy. That way you get the sex (limited to greek but hey) plus get paid. My bad . . . "get some bills paid".

In Houston that became the norm years ago when the Escape spas were going and their rate was $240. That set the price point which everyone had stayed close to

I've been a carnal companion just shy of 10 years, and when I started on Backpage (ASPD after I became erotically educated, then ECCIE) the average price was $200 an hour THEN, with really luscious-looking ladies and fetish fulfillers getting $250-$300.

The Houston Hobby scene really hasn't experienced an inflationary rate rise in comparison to other trades, goods, and services over the last decade. The difference I've noticed is attributable to slut glut; many more ladies entering the
amorous arena as the economy trembled, offering "super specials" to attract buyers to their new flavors, with a subsequent surge of ads for just BBBJ and/or half hours as available time and money fell but the number of providers increased. However, constant competitive undercutting doesn't keep standards and quality up, just as the use of cheaper materials and mass manufacturing has made many products poorer.

You can find full-service deals at less than $200/hour, but not often with reputable, well-established escorts. To be perfectly honest, those "cutoff lines" of $200, $300, and $400+ often put providers in different "classes" with many gents, with anything less than $200 seen as barely above streetwalker. This is purely a matter of psychology, promotion, and perception (as is most marketing), but true nonetheless.

The OP is tripping. I'm laughing like a muthafucker because I actually think $250 is a sweet cake deal. Now when the Armageddon comes as prophesized in the Bible then pussy rates might drop to 1930's rates @ .50 cent a session

Pussy price point is no different from any other item/service for sale, and is highly reflective of location. To put NYC on par with Houston expense-wise seems like comparing this morning's fresh-baked bagels to month-old dollar store muffins, but perhaps the erotic environment of the Big Apple barrel has bottomed out?

Since Katrina researched ECCIE, out of curiosity I perused NYC BP and did find a number of ads at $220-$250, but almost all were for half hours, and a lot of photos looked suspiciously bait and switch to me. The lower end of reasonably believable appeared to be $300-$350 per hour. I didn't cross-check them with ECCIE, but for reputable ladies vetted with reviews, a regular rate of $400/hour would be on target within the geographic context.

SOOOO costly to live in New York. I just keep thinking about how many MORE clients a provider has to see per week THERE to maintain the standard of living we lassies can enjoy HERE focusing our undivided attention on fewer gents!
