Where are they? Is the airport convenient or is it somewhat far away from everything? Is there another area that seems to be better to stay? Any areas that are best to stay the heck away from??

Anywhere along the north side of Loop 410, which includes the airport area, is convenient. Also on the northwest side along IH 10 from 410 out to Heubner Road. These areas have a lot of places to choose from and a lot of good places for dining as well.

Personally I tend to avoid airport or NE side providers unless I've really been meaning to see them. Though I'm also stuck on the southside.

Wish there were more on the NW, but Med Ctr or Airport area are pretty centrally accessable to most.

The best location's in san antonio would be airport area, 410 area, northwest, medical area. Downtown is not the way to go very hard for parking down there. I hope you enjoy Sa when you come down
