Looking for good food recommendations

I'm back in KC and am just about barbecued out. I know there's tons of great places, but would like to hear some recommendations.

Can someone please let me know where the best Italian joints are, what are the best Chinese places and where are the best greasy spoon diners?

Just like BBQ recommendations, you will hear all sorts of varying opinions. Here's mine:

Italian - Lidia's - 101 W 22nd St - Behind Union Station next to Jack Stack in the Freighthouse District

Chinese - Genghis Khan - 3906 Bell - Just east of KU Medical Center

Greasy Spoon - Town Topic - 1900 Baltimore - Again down just a bit north of Union Station area

Chubby's in Westport is a 24-hr diner. Hell, most places in Westport are fantastic! McCoy's is my favorite. Don't miss Minsky's if you want pizza (stores all over KC, they deliver).

Salvatore's on 40 highway is really good Italian. Carmen's Cafe in Brookside is amazing as well.
