Just What Do You Expect From The Hobby?

It's no secret I'm not happy with the "state of the hobby" in Arkansas. In fact, I've been accused of being an antique and resistant to change because things aren't "like they used to be". If that is a community where there is trust among the hobbyiest and a close group of independent providers. We are, after all, a small market.

Well now, I'm just mad as hell, because all the good things about the hobby in Arkansas are gone or are shrinking fast, BUT they are alive and well in other markets. One thing I am tired of is all the backbiting, bickering and bullshit between the providers.



This may take several threads, but I'm interested to know what you want out of the Hobby.

1. Are you looking for a GFE experience (more on that definition later) that comes complete with the "illusion of passion"? or
2. Are you satisfied with the current state of the Arkansas market? or
3. Are you just looking for a quick "warm, moist hole" to get your rocks off and go back to work?

I'm curious to know, because if this has transformed to a group of providers and their associates/management groups who are rif raf, low life, scum sucking, addicted, pimp-loving, dirtbags, then we need to fix it or move on.

And yes, I'm interested in female perspective on expectations from the hobby, too.

1. No. Not from the hobby.

2. No. Perhaps it'd be better to specify Little Rock Market or NWA market or other individual places, because they aren't they same. Unless you count driving through on I40, I haven't been to LR in 15 years and have no direct knowledge of the hobby situation there. (And it's not like I sit at home, been to 20 states and half a dozen countries in the interim)

3. Perhaps, my usual preference is closer to this rather crude characterization than gfe...my usual preference being a hh bbbj only session with the sort of provider that I like at a price I feel is fair. Basically, this sort of session is on any given day difficult-to-impossible to find in NWA. I've found I have much more fun and success if I delay gratification and hobby when I travel to big cities. Also, it didn't help that one of the NWA providers that I really liked turned out to be pimped, and I strongly suspect another one that I liked of being pimped. So I've put no effort into maintaining references here, with the expected result that hobbying has become much more difficult.

EDIT: I don't think it's accurate to a/b providers and hobbyists into two camps, one consisting of the good, quality, pure hearted ones; and the other these devious ne'er-do-well pimp lovers. That is overly binary to me.

1. GFE if that's BBBJ and MSOG it works for me.
2. Happy with the current state...well I have been inactive since 09..and I see new names compared to aspd...still testing the waters. I have only one reference for this year and have no complaints.
3. If it was a low priced special deal... IE HH BBBJ or 1 shot deal that would be okay for under a c note. For the 2 to 2.5 avg... I want gfe, bbbj, MP CFS with MSOG equipment permitting. I think we have ladies here that fit the bill.

What do I expect out of the hobby

#1 hobbyiest to make sure they know who they are booking.. know what to expect, what type of service the girl provides.. don't book someone expecting a wiggle and giggle girl when she is obviously a PSE experience

#2. stay out of my business and trust me I don't care to be in yours.. meaning, yes i have a life outside this world..I hope to god we all do.. You would/will only ever get to know whatever I want you to..I won't lie when asked, but at the same time I will not bring up my personal life.. I won't ask about yours, i am happy to discuss your day, your happenings, but only if you bring them up and offer the info.. but that doesn't mean i will share my personal life

#3. I expect other providers to stay out of my business unless we both agree we invited each other in.. We don't carry cards and we aren't a union and given the current state being verified don't make you a damn thing.. just cuz we both are doing the same thing doesn't make us have a damn thing in common.. there are only possible a small handful of girls i would trust here, would feel comfortable talking to much too and probably only 1..maybe 2 that i would actually even feel safe meeting (yes i know we still gotta do lunch)....

4. I expect both hobbyiest and providers to have your shit together.. be educated or atleast act like it.. leave the ghetto crap at the door.. have your ducks in a row and use and do in this hobby what its intended purpose is or should be..ESCAPE REALITY for a little bit.. enjoy time away from the real world, the troubles, the bills, the SO the whatever.. just get away and immerse yourself in the excitement, the anticipation, the eagerness the total emotions that encompass a 'date".. it really can be fun

HAVE FUN!!! its not a pissing contest or a who's dick is bigger contest or anything else.. respect some things..respect that there is better ways of doing things than the often leaned upon bp two step... the email, show up blindly ooops i got screwed again fun is not what most hobbyiest especially in the arkansas market do.. bigger cities sure.. all types of hobbyiest.. but this community has always been about feeling comfortable, having a good time and kinda getting along to move along sorta thing.. it can be a great place and lots of money to make and be spent from a business standpoint when you really position yourself for it..

In the end.. it wasn't to many years ago believe it or not arkansas community that informal get togethers were a common thing.. providers and hobbyiest getting together and getting to know each other.. like minded people hanging out.. swingers and such types did/do it all the time.. it works..its something that is fun.. it worked in this world.. unfortunately as things have went.. more and more girls really didn't wanna associate with to many..its not worth the risk..whether as the economy got tight or unprofessional sex workers with the ethics of a rat came along..who knows..none the less i am one of the old timers that is here to tell you..many of you are traveling down a slippery slope and your about to be pissed.. your about to make a nasty bed and wonder why you are forced to lay in it..

you know.. it was funny.. when the BP invasion started i was met with such harsh comments.. the "get over it" and change happens... many now see the result..some better people came over..unfortunatly instead of moving up to the level of the board and expectations..somehow they are bringing the bar down to their level.. by the end of the year..this forum will be no better than BP/CL.. not the board..and has nothing to do with the mods etc.. but has everything to do with the hobbyiest and providers and what they accept as normal..

guys there is sooooo much better to be had when you surround yourself with quality (not saying i am quality).. yall just don't know

My simplest, most accurate , most honest answer would be "PURE SEXUAL FUN !!" ** Nothing More - Nothing Less!!

Many of us are guilty of complicating things, unnecessarily! This Hobby is here to satisfy the most base levels of human sexual perversion... sexual pleasure, upon request.... that's about It!!! ** Pure Physical Talent is fairly easy to recognize... any "illusions" beyond our base needs/desires are nice fantasies... only provided by the very, very best !!

I guess I'm just a basic olde dawg.... it doesn't take me a great deal of evaluation to figure out what is FUN... and what isn't!! **I want ALL OF THE ABOVE !! *My favorite providers eagerly provide whatever level I'm interested in... at that particular moment!! I might be in a differnt mood/need from time to time.... those who know me best , know how to recognize that mood and scratch the itch. Being a pure slut definitely helps in a majority of cases!!

There is a good group of professional providers who make a real effort to co-exist in the community. It only takes a few to stir up shit, intimidate and give an appearance that the entire community is dysfunctional.

Regrettably for me, I only get to hobby in AR every few months. I could easily find a lifelong ATF or two among the beautiful, professional and passionate providers in the market. There are wonderful ladies here; unfortunately some have been intimidated into silence by experiences they have had on this board.

first let me say.. that yes there are a few quality top notch professional girls.. sadly those get overshadowed by the riff raff.. they attention should be on those ladies providing LEGIT good fun drama free service board persona aside even if they don't have one.. but unfortunately they don't get the attention.. the ones providing crappy service and bitching about it in coed, the ones that are untrustworthy and creating problems for others get all the attention these days

NO i am not happy with the current state of the market.. you get PM's from guys that have no reviews, perhaps no post.. seemingly came out of nowhere.. lurkers perhaps.. use to that is what a major part of this market was.. was little client "hidden gems"..the guys that weren't all over the board.. these days.. you don't know who is who, you don't know who to trust, they may have references..but unfortunately those references are of ladies who may have ties to our favorite aunt, may be girls that aren't on this board, may be a variety of things..

you simply don't know who is who and that simply didn't use to be the case.. its because of the earlier mentioned provider backbiting, perhaps greediness, perhaps general hatefullness towards other more successful providers..but you u simply never know whats going on

Good Looking , smaller framed , petite , healthy , great hygiened , fresh & clean , smiling , friendly natured , good humored , calm , cool , relaxed , organized , on time , prepared , sensuous but slutty , females who genuinely enjoy sex , bring talent , provide full menus , throw down , and get along with all the other whole bunch of girls just like them.... without any jealousies , cat fighting , or backstabbing!!

I would also expect a whole bunch of friendly horny dawgs with most of the same qualities and enough cash to keep the female group busy!!

All that , and a constant list of high quality traveling talent... both male and female to keep us all happy!!

I would expect LE to chill out , leave us the fuck alone , and fight real crime!!

I have to agree with DeAnna and Giz first........the primary thing I desire from the Hobby is DRAMA FREE FUN...a break from the real world.....a fantasy!!!!! But I also want to touch upon a couple of the points DeAnna made.......

Yes - the quote comes to mind somebody else has said about being a love affair a couple hours at a time. To me, it's having fun with somebody energetic and playful & who also enjoys the time together.

Are you satisfied with the current state of the Arkansas market? or
Yes & No - I am satisfied that there are some very cool and great people to meet (figuratively on the boards and obviously the ladies in person). The Arkansas section seems to be one of the more active areas on the website. There's lots of other areas full of chirping crickets. What I'm not too keen about is some of the drama, but I usually ignore it and hope to avoid it. I'm not gonna let it be a buzz-kill to me.
