Suggestions for West Texas

I will be visiting El Paso and Midland/Odessa next week for the first time. Looking for suggestions on areas to stay and where to stay away from. Thanks!

Don't pass up an Amarillo stop.

In El Paso the Airport area is probably best because:
a. hotels are good
b. central location

I agree stay at the residence Inn close to the airport.coz it's a convinient location for date coz of the building type.
