Strippers Turned Call Girls

What do you think about this common occurrence?
I danced before I became a provider. I think it prepared me more than if I would have gone in without any experience in dealing with certain situations that happen frequently in this lifestyle.
Do you think strippers are more professional and have a head start, or do girls with no prior experience in sexual situations have the vote?
Interesting question.

Strippers are comfortable in their own skin and not shy about nudity for sure. Now they are mostly trained to make the most for offering the least so if that were to continue then it would not work out.

It also seems they are allowed some more choice in whom they dance for and usually now the hi rollers. In this it is hit or miss and you aren't meeting the client first.

I doubt it is an easy transition either way as it involves more private 1-1 encounters and a lot less control.

I spent a lot more money on strippers than I ever did on escorts until I finally figured it out.
Some of the best providers I've met were former dancers. Some of the worst were also former dancers.

I think dancing prior to this does give on the proper mindset beforehand thus yeilding an advantage to a certain degree. Dancers have a trained ability to make an individual feel special and comfortable...

Downside, they also have a tendency to think they can get a lot of money with very little effort. Sometimes this can lead to providers who give less than stellar service.

My opinion, it is the individual who matters... some ladies have the tools and the mind to do well and their devotion to customer service counter-balance their desire to screw someone over.... no pun intended.

I'm not sure being a stripper is the best training for this industry, if they're looking to do it seriously and as a "career". I've found the best tend to be ladies who have had a career doing something else and just realized they loved sex and saw a way to control their own destiny and make some money. Strippers tend to have GPS and the hustler mentality that probably doesn't work as well now with hobbyist having access to sites like this and being able to see how the good ones operate. From what I understand, you're an exception to the rule Allie.
I know. It seems like the majority of the other strippers I've introduced into this lifestyle were more concerned with getting in and out in less than half an hour and getting paid more than most. (With the exception of one).
I was a dancer for quite awhile and since becoming a provider, I've always wished that I had found you all sooner.
I am truly glad that I found something that I enjoy doing and that makes me happy in a variety of ways. Plus I've met such a large number of sincere, nice, unique gentlemen that stay in touch with me after our encounters. Kansas City really is the best in my opinion. Not that I've really been anywhere else on tour besides Tampa, but from what I can tell from the other states forums, I'm lucky to call Kansas my home.

I think we're lucky that you call Kansas home Allie.
Allie, I have not had the pleasure of meeting you personally (yet!) But your posts on this site, keep us amused and are interesting. Thanks for the fun.
On topic, my experience with ladies who have been strippers, tend to want the fast buck without the service. As a great generality ladies who become Providers because they enjoy it, tend to provide the best experiences.
Luckily there exceptions to all people!
There is no comparison. I never fit into the stripper world (in large part because I have a work ethic). You are either a short sighted bait'nswitch or not. The stripper mentality has NO part in the business plan of a successful escort.

In my opinion, if a stripper wishes to make the transition to escorting, she will need to have a significant attitude adjustment towards proper customer service. Some are able to make that transition (there are some we know of locally), but it seems most are not.

I'm with Lillianna. I don't think there is a comparison. When you dance, there is not much conversation. Also, there isn't as much time. So, it's a totally different experience.
Escorting is very different then stripping. With escorting, there is more of an element of care and service. With Stripping, you dance, get a tip, the songs up, you leave. Cold, cut and dry....apples and oranges. God bless strippers, they don't have it easy and they have their place. But escorting is way more challenging. I do not think stripping will prepare you more for escorting. At the most, it might make you come out of your shell and make you less shy around fellas. It will not prepare you for the actual work of it. I would tell any stripper who wants to be an escort: first change your mind set. Escorting is not about cash and dash like it is in stripping.
Was remembering a few things that are different;

Noise level in a club vs private times
Lotion packed in my nose vs no scents
Leaving with a hard on vs not leaving with a hard on.
Finding a wad of Credit Card Slips in my pocket from Cash Advances
Trying to drive home somewhat impaired and finding religion enroute.
Membership costs
Feeling better the next day.

To the Woman's benefit I think it would be less costly from the shoe and costume standpoint and a lot easier on knees, ankles and feet.

I've many several strippers outside the club and always had a good time probably because we got to know each other prior to meeting outside the club. No doubt the attractive dancers are used to making a lot of money without providing a lot of service, so I can see where it would be a tough transition. However, I do love a dancer's body and hope to see more make the transition.
Hey Allie;

A new career opportunity for you.................helping the ladies make the transition. You know the nice guys to help ease it and you know both sides.
