What on earth is there to do in Lubbock on the 4th???

I'm bored, somebody entertain me! There's not going to be fireworks or a parade. What Is going on here? Any festivals or concerts? Is the fair in town? Rodeo? Opera?? Ok, I'll settle for a movie recommendation at this point!
