Stopped by last night, old lady asked me pay first this time, so I was given the new customer treatment.
I saw a guy walked passed me and didn't pay first.
Old lady said this is a "professional" massage and you pay $20 tip. I didn't mind, but the way she said it seemed ugly like customers haven't been tipping. I said fine, I'll tip with cash, showed her my stack of $20's, but she wanted to charge my card for the $20 tip in advance. Just didn't seem right, so I cancelled on account of the bad vibes and cancelled. Always follow my gut instinct. I never ever tip on my card. Just my rule.
Very disrespectful treatment whether you're a new customer or not. Never had this happened at other places.
Most of these places the ownership gets 60%. So that is only $24 for the masseuse on a $60hour massage with no hourly wage. They are probably getting a lot of guys walking out not leaving a tip cause they didn't get there H.E.
