Zion/Nike Incident

Everyone is saying this will hurt Nike. IMO it will only help, especially for Zion.
All top apparel companies cut corners & use the cheapest materials possible to increase profits. The average person that spends top $$ on sneakers does it solely for vanity, not to play ball in them.
Top universities like Duke have deals with apparel companies & already get huge discounts.
They should put a limit on equipment (shoes in this case) used by top players to prevent injuries.
It is always about the money

I think thats the part that is being overlooked here, these guys are genetic freaks and the amount of milage being put on their sneakers during practice and games is not going to compare to that of a regular joe schmoe.
