Babylon Spa could be a sting

The old Babylon Spa on 141 Greens Road that recently closed down (sign was gone) has now opened up as a new spa. But it's looks fishy as hell to me. There was this sign stating under new management that was draped over the torn down Babylon sign. It looked temporary and very tacky. There was also a small sign hanging on the windows. It said spa. It looked very suspicious and tacky looking as well. The big neon open sign was lit up. The white lights inside were very bright but the windows were covered with white paper so you really couldn't see what's inside. Next door is a vacant space (lease sign) which could be a good hiding place for Vice. The parking lot was unusually filled up but I believe there was a some black Church meeting (their doors were wide open and you could see the congregation praising the Lord or something) going on in the next space. But there were some strange white dudes (didn't look like bums or lowlifes) hanging out or standing around in public which looked suspicious to me. I didn't sense any hookers inside the new spa. I drove at the back of the building and noticed that cars can enter from the back where cops can take those caught in the sting to a patrol car for processing. However, I didn't see any at the time. I have a feeling that this is a sting operation. It's best to avoid.

When I've passed through the Gunspoint area there has never been a shortage of "security" cruising around from I45 to Imperial Valley.

HPD has a substation just across I45 from the "spa" you described ...

... HPD "Greenspoint": 100 Glenborough Dr.

HCSO AND HPD had store fronts in the pre-excavation days at Gunspoint.

It's better to do 5 under when passing through.
