Lol Spa

It’s been a few weeks since I’ve been out and about and I was past overdue for a session. My #1 didn’t return my text in time so I went to U-Spa to see my #2.
YuYu put a good 90 minutes of hurt on me that was wonderful.

Anyway, I know we all love spa music, I mean that’s why we go, right? Well I’m quite familiar with the soundtrack at my regular spots but there was a surprise for me today. Not only was the playlist on repeat, it was only 1 song . . . On repeat, for the entire hour and a half.

It had parts that sounded familiar, and I’m pretty capable of naming older hits but this one had me stumped. It sounded like a cross between an orchestral R.E.M. track and Burt Bacharach.

Any immemorable music memories anyone?

I once had a skipping CD. That was so annoying.

One of my regulars used to play The Cranberries which I thought was pretty cool, she had a taste for British music.
