Oakland, Richmond, Vallejo

I am flying into Oakland next month and will be passing through Richmond and Vallejo. Does anyone have any experience with the AMPS in these areas?

Lived near Berkeley for a while. Went into SF for fun back then, didn't find much in the East Bay. Good luck. Is there a board for the area you can check on?

No experience but my friend Ronin3 has reviews for that area. Just read and decide.
