tbone2u is correct
Fort Bend C O P S are dilligent in shutting down these places.
With the landlord being 'advised' to not to rent to a similar business.
F and G massage was shut down for no license but now there seems to be no newspaper coverage.

Then there was a sting that got a Houston cop. Again no newspaper coverage

there was a little bit of coverage on the houston cop, but they kept the rest of the operation pretty quiet. funny that the address of the arrest was the west fort bend county clerk office.

My experience has been that no SOB establishments opened or lasted long out in Ft Bend since the 1970s through the present. No strip cluibs, no AMPs or even a dirty book store (well maybe the old Cry Babies Pawn Shop).

Don't even think there is anything in Sugarland either.

Out there its a small town culture still. Everyone knows someone who also knows. . .alots of people have the same last name too.

There is some local indy action, but I think its sort of amature bar pick-ups at places like the Sundowner Motel (that name may have changed). I'd never be hobby active out there, somebody would recognize you from a service club or the gym.

In the 1990s, the district superintendent was having an affair (not even Hobbying) where they regularly met at a motel 25 miles away in Wharton. Not just out of town, it was out of the county. That all eventually came out in a story in the old Houston Press tabloid. . . .and the education leadership changed.

It is a small world out there.

their sob laws are written to prevent any sob from ever opening there.
