Golden Triangle

Anyone else alive & kicking in the Golden Trisngle area? Seen a lot of activity in the North East Texas section as relates to Tyler & Longview but been pretty dam quiet around the Beaumont area. Just wondering if I was the Lone Ranger here or something. Sure hate making the round trip to Houston just for something & someone to do but seems too be about the only option these days.
