The strong bars will make the grade and the new-weak ones will fade.

The same with the flurry of "trendy" eateries that popped up all over the Houston metro area when things were roaring last year.
It’s times like these that I realize even more so the benefits of having personal contact info with various providers throughout the city, ain’t missed a beat in-spite of the stay at home order, these lovelies are an essential. Some shop owners have multiple leases to cover on a monthly basis, that must be tough to maintain while being closed, for the example Sun Spa over on Gessner/Bellaire formerly Kim’s spa is closed for good, girls rotated between Sun, Perfecta spa on Corporate and another place. Perfecta still holding out though.

I planned ahead for massage. Never imagined I would need to plan ahead for hair and nails since there were places in every shopping center and It is not a business that tends to run afoul of the police and busybodies. Now I know.

According to the article on the Chron. It is mid May

https://www.chron.com/coronavirus/ar...t-15229488.php

Barbershops, hair salons, bars and gyms must remain closed at this time. Abbott said he hopes to reopen these businesses by mid-May.
What's the matter with you guys? I'm sure fifi's news station is more up to speed than one in Houston relating to Texas news.
I doubt any of them really know what will happen.

C’mon Man!!
Hair salons might open a big chain is fighting it as they are more sanitary than restaurants they claim
Montgomery County Judge says everything opening in that county Friday
Any business can open regardless of any order since orders have no teeth, the issue will be more on the side of the consumer willing to go to. When it’s all said and done, I believe we’ll discover that social distancing was pointless, just my opinion. Work on building/strengthening immune system. Some shops never fully closed, they saw less customers obviously, but pussy was always readily available.

I agree. A few less choices, but I have not missed a beat. The ones who are laying low are going to be well rested when they can see clients again. Build and keep a strong contact list for the next crisis. As in the business world, always keep building and strengthening your network.
