Lafayette Eats?

Regulus69's Avatar
I'm going to be working in Lafayette for the next couple weeks and looking for a good bowl o' gumbo and some mudbugs. Looks like most dine in is shut down but could also do carry out.
Any suggestions are all appreciated.

I need to start a thread in New Orleans for this. Still kinda scared to do real dinner dates but a take out plate of good eating would be good knowledge to have too.

Promise I won’t hijack the thread lol
Rachaels Cafe off Kaliste Saloom.

Outside dining or to go.
Agree with Maleman.
Also Chris's Poboys has a pretty damn good gumbo.
Lt’s in Broussard has great gumbo and bugs

Thanks for all the helpful info. I've seen Chris's around town and was thinking of stopping for a Muffaletta. Good to know the gumbo's good there too. I've seen about 10% of the places are open for dine in, hopefully more will open in phase II.
