Stopped at a favorite spot today and the girl was very scared after the announcement closing the bars. She said they might close again if the spike in COVID continues. Anyone else hear similar? Another lockdown would truly suck.

The S.O. works retail and that's the rumor going around right now. Better get going while the going's good.

Honestly, with everything Texas and Houston is doing, I'm fully expecting another lock-down next week. You don't need the girls to tell you that. Just look at the Hospitals.

I was at the Apple Store the other day. They are expecting to shut down all Houston stores next week. I don't know about the rest of Texas...

Was shopping at Galleria today. Some of the stores changed their sign on the doors and are closing completely until further notice. Houston is turning into a COVID hotspot.

It's the fault of those who assumed the spreading was over when businesses began to reopen and they ignored the protocols to avoid spreading it around. On that first Friday the street traffic increased by 10 fold....and people were aggressive.
Don’t forget to get contact info from your favorites, be doing some visits to their place.

but the fact of the matter is that the gen pop are children, the ones you have to yell at for running with a knife.....

Child .... Running around the pool with a katakana sword.

Step Father .......STOP THAT NOW .... @!@ .. Give me the SWORD!

Child....... NO!! ... its fun ... your not my Dad !... you cant tell me what to do...... child runs away.

Step Father ......

Child .... Slips and Falls

We are bleeding to death because we fell on our own sword !!!

If we would have just shut down EVERYTHING for 15 Days .... Literally .... EVERYTHING, not this (I'm a VIP so i don't have to stay home) bull shit that happened ... the virus would have burnt its self out already and we would be fine .... but NOOOOOOO ...... we cant listen to anyone that's not the voice in our own head ...

Welp ... Maybe all of the stupid ones die ... at least that's what I am hoping.... natural selection ... less traffic to deal with

My nail lady said they are limiting services to strictly manicure and pedicure for now. No shoulder massage, facials, waxing until this blows over. The employees and owners are avoiding any close or extended contact. The nail stations have the wall shields like the grocery stores for separation between employees and customers.

Depends who you ask. So far salons and barbers are not changed, I am just seeing caution and fear on the part of the employees to balance being able to work and minimizing close contact with customers. One friend has a close friend of hers’ dad die from it. She works in a retail environment and is terrified right now.
This virus pit on the massage tables scares me now
